At ORIK we offer acupuncture as an optional part of treatment at no added cost. Acupuncture is primarily used as a treatment to help relieve pain and/or muscular stiffness.

Acupuncture is performed by our physiotherapists who are trained and certified. Safety is always first at ORIK. Our staff have strict infection control procedures (skin disinfectant, latex-free gloves, single-use needles, and private treatment rooms).
Our physiotherapists have received training and certification in acupuncture for rehabilitation. They use acupuncture in this way to help decrease pain, and to promote tissue healing and optimal nerve and muscle function.
